Healthy ageing skin-the new trend

Healthy Ageing Skin: ISCC conference, Bangkok, 11&12 July 2018:

The key to good skin ageing and maintaining an attractive looking functional skin as you age is to keep the skin healthy and protected from the adverse effects of the environment. The Bangkok conference will discuss the good and bad effects of the sun on skin: the importance of Vitamin D to good skin health and the role of the skin’s microbiome in maintaining healthy skin. Skin ageing characteristics in different populations will be discussed in ‘Skin ageing in different countries: A perspective’ and ‘Mapping of Intrinsic and extrinsic ageing in Asian and Caucasian women’ and ‘The molecular anatomy of dry and photodamaged facial stratum corneum’. In total there will be 19 papers presented and will include testing, formulation, regulatory and a look into the future of skin care for ageing skin in 2028.
