Healthy 2030 Impact Report

We deliver health care in ways no one else can. It’s the result of our strong community presence, tech-forward approach and unmatched engagement with millions of people every day. These same differentiators drive our ability to positively impact the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve through our Healthy 2030 strategy.

As part of our work, we share our progress towards creating a more equitable health care system and sustainable world annually. I am proud of the measurable impact we have made in advancing this work across our four pillars – Healthy People, Healthy Business, Healthy Community and Healthy Planet – and am excited to share our progress we made in 2023 within our Healthy 2030 Impact Report. ??

Here are a few highlights from our Healthy 2030 Impact report:

• 5% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
• 95% of colleagues affected by store closures filled open positions in other CVS Health roles and locations.
• We sourced 400,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of renewable energy.
• Our maternal health investments served 40,000 birthing people and babies.
• 500 million receipts eliminated.

As I take a second to look back and celebrate the progress we have made, I’m excited about the opportunities we see ahead of us as we execute our vision to create a healthier world for all!
