As you may know in my business marketing yourself and getting yourself known as a quality professional is important but let’s look at some areas that are neglected not just by people who do what I do but by most people in general.
So if we really want to be successful in 2023 here are the top three things you will need to address:
1-your fuel
2-mental stability
3-fitness
Talking about your fuel or nutrition is tricky for me here as I am not a nutritionist but I can share what’s worked for me.
I worked myself into the ground in the past and ended up having two heart attacks so you could say I have been trained well in not what to do.
Giving your body a chance to be able to give you the energy you need is what will keep your output high and in my business sounding full of life and not strained.
The first pitfall is sugar, I will create more info that goes into detail about it but for now, just be aware that sugar is not your friend and myths like it can give you energy belong in the dark ages.
There again I am talking from experience having successfully dealt with a diabetic condition caused by sugar, diet, and stress.
So wherever possible only eat food that is not processed stuff like vegetables, something that took me years to adjust to.
Energy drinks and hamburgers do not make you healthy, it is Ok to indulge a little but if that is your lifestyle you don’t have a future in whatever industry you are working in. The only future you will have is a life that includes medications that change your chemistry and take away your health, It’s all about respecting yourself and taking responsibility.

Walking and exercise help build a healthy body and also a healthy mind.
I have a list as long as your arm that shares the benefits of a daily 30 or 90-minute walk and other forms of exercise that will also help to provide more energy for your work, I have just got a rowing machine here at home to do a daily 10-minute session.
Many of you will already know this stuff but just by me writing this helps to remind me to stay on track.
So exercise is great but make sure you’re not placing yourself under too much stress when exercising as that will have the opposite of what you are trying to achieve and you could physically damage yourself and be out of action.
So to be sharper and have more energy in the booth, in my case, keep up your fitness and your productivity will improve over time.
What else helps other than Fitness in the body?
Emotional and mental fitness is important and I recommend taking 10 minutes daily to just be with yourself doing some form of meditation, you don’t need to chant or even cross your legs.
I will cover most of this in other blogs in the future and how I have benefited from changes to my lifestyle, but just be sure that taking time out for yourself each day by doing exercise and meditation will go a long way in improving your productivity, and your work, helping you to grow your business and yourself.
