HealthWeek 2025: A Celebration of Wellness and Inspiration

This January (20th - 24th) INSEAD MiM students hosted 'HealthWeek' on our Europe campus. It was a week of growth and reflection. 150 students took part in what was a dynamic and engaging series of events that brought together fitness enthusiasts, wellness advocates, and professionals from diverse fields to prioritize health and personal growth. From high-energy workouts to insightful discussions, this year’s event created a lasting impact on all attendees.

Kickstarting with Energy: Bootcamp with Kewin Bordas

  • Health Week commenced on Monday, January 20th, with an invigorating bootcamp session led by renowned fitness coach Kewin Bordas. Participants pushed their limits with intense physical exercises, emphasizing endurance, strength, and agility. Bordas’ motivational coaching made the session both challenging and enjoyable, setting the perfect tone for the rest of HealthWeek 2025.

Mind-Body Balance and Inspiring Entrepreneurship: Lunch and Learn with Clementina Makula

  • On Tuesday, participants engaged in a rejuvenating Pilates session that combined controlled movements with deep breathing, enhancing flexibility and core strength. This was followed by a nutritious breakfast featuring products from Clemi’s Market, reinforcing the idea that fitness and a balanced diet go hand in hand.
  • Later in the day there was a Lunch and Learn session featuring Clementina Makula, the CEO of Clemi’s Market. Makula shared her journey as a female entrepreneur in the health and wellness industry, discussing challenges, opportunities, and the importance of maintaining a strong personal health philosophy while leading a business.

Sportsmanship and Strategy: Squash Tournament

  • One of the most thrilling highlights of the week was the squash tournament, where participants showcased their agility and competitive spirit. The finale on Wednesday evening between the MIM and MBA teams was particularly intense, drawing enthusiastic spectators who cheered on the competitors. The match demonstrated the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Mental Strength and Resilience: Workshop with Gene Cleckley

  • On Wednesday, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a resilience workshop led by Gene Cleckley. This session focused on mental well-being, stress management, and overcoming obstacles. Cleckley provided practical tools and strategies to help individuals build resilience in their personal and professional lives, leaving a profound impact on all who attended.

Recovery and Wellness: Ice Baths at the Gym

  • For those looking to optimize muscle recovery, ice baths were available throughout the week at the gym. Many participants took advantage of this opportunity to experience the benefits of cold therapy, including reduced inflammation, improved circulation, and an overall feeling of rejuvenation.

A Multidimensional Perspective: Lunch and Learn with Dr. Prarthana Venkatesh

  • The final 'Lunch and Learn' session on Thursday featured Dr. Prarthana Venkatesh, a distinguished surgeon and McKinsey consultant. Dr. Venkatesh captivated attendees with her unique perspective on the intersection of healthcare, strategy, and business. Her insights into balancing a high-powered career while maintaining personal well-being inspired many in the audience.

HealthWeek 2025 successfully fostered a culture of wellness, education, and community engagement. With a diverse lineup of events catering to different aspects of health—physical fitness, nutrition, mental resilience, and professional development—attendees left with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation.

As participants reflected on their experiences, the consensus was clear: HealthWeek 2025 was not just an event, but a movement towards embracing a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. The excitement is already building for HealthWeek 2026, promising another year of inspiration, growth, and wellness.
