IQVIA Named to Fortune? World's Most Admired Companies? List for Seventh Consecutive Year

IQVIA, a leading provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry, has been named to the Fortune? World's Most Admired Companies? list for the seventh consecutive year. The company also earned the first-place ranking within the Health Care: Pharmacy and Other Services category for the third year in a row.

The Fortune? World's Most Admired Companies? list is the definitive report card on corporate reputation. Since 1997, Fortune? has identified, selected, and ranked the World's Most Admired Companies, identifying the business practices that make these companies highly regarded among their peers.

?Fortune? collaborated with Korn Ferry on this survey of corporate reputation. To determine the best-regarded companies in 52 industries, executives, directors, and analysts rated enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company's score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed.

IQVIA ranked number one in six categories, including quality of management, people management, innovation, quality of products and services, global competitiveness, and use of corporate assets. The company's consistent recognition on the list speaks to its commitment to providing top-notch services to the life sciences industry and its dedication to maintaining a positive reputation among its peers. Migrating Paper to Electronic. How do we address equivalency when migrating PROs from paper to electronic format?

When migrating an existing patient-reported outcome (PRO) from paper to an electronic format, the process should aim to maintain the properties of the original paper PRO as much as possible to avoid introducing response bias, according to a report. This “faithful migration” requires retaining exact wording and order of response options, keeping questions and response options together on the same screen, and ensuring navigation is clear. Modifications can be classified as minor, moderate, or substantial depending on the format of the original paper PRO and the electronic solution. Moderate and substantial modifications should be avoided, and equivalency testing may be required even for minor modifications if the ePRO is to be used in a regulatory setting to support a labeling claim.

Sponsors are increasingly converting paper patient reported outcomes (PROs) to electronic PROs (ePROs) for convenience, response rates, and improved data quality. Regulators and health organizations encourage electronic data collection from patients. Current guidance outlines the evidence needed to show equivalence depending on the level of modifications, but ePROs should remain as true to the original measure as possible. Minor amendments to the original paper PRO during electronic migration are likely to be considered equivalent, but evidence is still often requested by regulators and stakeholders.?Discover how to address equivelancy when migrating PROs from paper to electronic format.
