Oral health-care providers can now treat patients under the Canadian Dental Care Plan on a case-by-case basis without officially signing up. This measure aims to attract more dentists. Providers submit claims directly to Sun Life, so patients don’t pay upfront. Over 2 million people are approved for coverage, including seniors, children, and adults with disabilities. So far, 11,800 providers have joined the program. ?
