HEALTHCARE DISPARITIES: IMPACT ON QUALITY OF CARE FOR HEADACHES
“Migraine is one of the most common neurological conditions, yet many people with migraines have difficulty getting care to reduce or prevent chronic headaches.”?
According to research, only about a quarter of adults with episodic migraine receive a proper diagnosis and effective treatment in the United States. Healthcare inequalities, defined as racial or ethnic variances that affect quality of care is one of the major reasons.
