Health2Human: leadership with emotion and results
We are human, and having emotions is part of our nature. So why is being emotional not well regarded by senior management?

Health2Human: leadership with emotion and results

Diversity is also about leadership

Ensuring diversity and inclusion in business is not just about hiring people from minority groups. It's also about respecting different ways of leading. After all, what is the problem with being empathetic, kind, and honest with your emotions if there is respect and commitment from both the leader and the team?

In my monthly article, I make an important reflection on this topic: if so many people in the market are talking about kindness leadership, why is this type of leadership better received among team members and peers than by senior management? Come reflect with me by clicking here .

With healthcare in the cloud

When we talk about innovation, we often aim for disruptive solutions but forget to look at the foundation that allows these solutions to truly deliver value in healthcare. A classic example is the use of cloud computing.

Cloud technology in healthcare enables numerous solutions, from the easy and secure sharing of medical records to the creation and maintenance of various types of medical devices. All of this brings significant results: increasing efficiency while reducing costs. You can learn more about this topic in this article that shows 13 examples of how the cloud is being used in the sector. Click here .

Happier people and business

A constant feeling of time scarcity and an ongoing urgency for deliveries and results. Unfortunately, these sentiments are still shared by many people in the workforce. The good news is that the hustle culture is on the decline because it has been more than proven that it does not benefit people or companies.

Businesses that value the well-being and professional fulfillment of their employees are on the rise, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, when the issue of mental health started to shape work relationships. If you are a leader in your company, you need to know how to replace hustle culture with happiness culture. For that, I recommend reading this Forbes article by clicking here .

Photo taken in India during my last work trip: an opportunity to explore a new culture and gain a lot of knowledge

Time to relax

Traveling and experiencing other cultures is a habit I try to cultivate whenever I can. Whether I'm traveling for leisure or work, I always try to take advantage of every opportunity to engage with the local population and truly get to know the places I'm visiting.

Having lived in various countries, like Brazil where I was born, as well as Angola, Germany, and now the United States, I find it easy to absorb new cultures. This might be why I am so passionate about traveling: being in a new place and experiencing both the good and not-so-good aspects helps us grow significantly as individuals.

This was evident during a recent work trip to India. Among the many learnings from such a vastly different culture, what struck me the most was the genuine desire people had to know us, to learn who we are, what we do, and how we do it.
