SAFETY, THE STRATEGIC AUTONOMY AND ECONOMIC POWER, HOW DO THEY CORRELATES?

It was a great moment to meet the young generations around my compound last September 30th, 2022 before lunch time. They are apprentice students from Padang Indonesia. Even some of them have been graduated and are ready to face the real live of industries. When it was my session arrived to share about Health Safety and Environment, I was happy as they showed their curiosity and eager to learn. A brainstorming was knocked down and each of them figuring out a different understanding of what is Safety, when was being questioned by. It’s a controlled crowed class with a full of joy and kept laughing out of stiffness faces I could saw. Seemingly, as a practitioner started hitting the bottom of conversation by Health and Safety Foundation sense. A discussion became active by outlining the scope and nature of occupational health and safety. After spending a moment of exchanging ideas, it was a great thing which was a word found among short talks by a student who was able to link the Moral, Social and Economic reasons to maintain and promote a good standards of Health and Safety as well for the environment on every industries, fabrication operations, and business on this earth. What was an impressive emphasize by a student, added more by other explanation by one among students which was saying that government and the world also international bodies had been formulating a regulations for our health, safety and environment. They mentioned some examples how do stakeholders role have been putting in practices. I tried to make a short session to be more active by encouraging each student to speak up. Having listen to those spirit and energic students who are now waiting for inauguration (some), suddenly, they questioned me about my strategic about how I am leading my team in HSE and also how I could be as they saw me standing today. This question was touching my professionality ability due to it relates to my Strategic, Tactic, Operations and Compliance in leading my team and companies to proceed the Health and Safety Management Systems. Fortunately, I remembered how a strategic as Aristotle stated (I said) “ “he who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god: he is no part of a state” (Aristotle, 1885, p. 3), implies that human existence is ontologically social. It was emphasized by a framework of team meaningful to each of human being and a good approach to mingle among people and my team. I can’t be alone! And all success belongs to the Team. In addition to that I explained that by?this social effort in spreading the sense of health and safety, also using the strategic by this social factors positively to influence the organization’s health and safety standard and its priorities. Of course the size of problem and moral expectations?of Good Standards of health and safety are so often to be having challenges on its way.

?However to cope with those barriers could be faced by elementary and grand tactics as found by Comte Guibert, without using the word strategy (even). This is written in the book of Vitor Bento entitled Strategic Autonomy and Economic Power (2020). In this theory stated that there are divided tactics into two hierarchical levels. First, the Elementary Tactics contains all the details of training, instruction, and exercise of a battalion, a squadron, a regiment; with the stated objective being the ability to move a regiment in all circumstances war can offer. The second, Grand Tactics, has higher-level objectives: to move an army according to the fullest extent possible, gathering all their bodies, bringing them together, and contributing to the execution of the great maneuvers of war. What I tried to lead over the students minds is, in my team a short of training, instruction and an effort to always intactly together in performing tasks to save people and operation, there is a value of the essentially competitive condition of each of my team again in saving human beings and even all other creations. In everyday practical way by all team is not adopting “managing way” but “practicing the leading” to achieve goals as how was it framed.?It was expected some explanation could be delivered an understanding to those energic students. It’s happened. Everyone felt being enlightened. Before dismissing the class , and as a statement to close, a message to be delivered where its obviously in today's business around the world packaged by a trade, construction, industries and whatever they are, the engagement in all angles increases the potential possibilities and available choices enjoyed by a country, providing it with a higher capacity to expand its economic power, and therefore its strategic autonomy (Bento, 2020). Health, Safety and Environment is always there! Today Safety is a need as well for health and our environment. It was ended up by stating that collaboration in using tactics in functioning the strategic autonomy and economic power has a strong correlation with Heath, Safety and Environment on our planet! As young generation has a morality to save this earth with people, business operations and all things. Never stop learning and stay relevant to today's changes.?
