During the summit, Health Parliament unveiled three timely and crucial initiatives which are:

a) Mission SCALE

b) Digital Doctor Leadership Maturity Model

c) SMART Hospitals’ Suite and SMART Clinicians’ Suite.

Mission SCALE (Start-ups to Collaborate & Co-create, Accelerate, Leverage the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem)

Digital Health is the only hope for Healthcare Transformation to help solve the most pressing issues plaguing healthcare. The Digital Health start-ups hold the key to finding the solutions and yet, the current market scenario is bleak for such startups, and this has led to what is widely referred to as the ‘Funding Winter’. This trend has been growing, and it's likely to continue because healthcare isn't like any other industry.? We can't afford to let Digital Health startups fail, or else our healthcare system won't see any positive change. After talking to global leaders, startup founders, and investors, we've initiated 'Mission SCALE'. Startups need to shift from failing to scaling, and this requires an ecosystem approach.

We are very enthusiastic about this chance to guide startups in the right direction and help them build networks that increase their chances of success and reduce the risk of failure. Some startups might still fail, but it shouldn't be the norm. Mission SCALE aims to change the situation from failure to success and shift the funding trend from 'winter' to 'spring'. Let's support the growth of thousands of Digital Health startups. Together, we can make it a reality through Mission SCALE.

Shri Piyush Goyal , Hon'ble Union Minister, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India , officially launched Mission SCALE (Start-ups to Collaborate & Co-create, Accelerate, Leverage the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem) at the Global Digital Health Summit, Expo & Awards 2023.

Digital Doctor Leadership Maturity Model

Launch of the Digital Doctor Leadership Maturity Model (DDLMM)

The Digital Doctor Leadership Maturity Model (DDLMM) launched by Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, PhD , is an innovative and proprietary model developed as a result of years of work and research by our senior leadership team at Health Parliament. The idea behind this maturity model is to provide clinicians with a roadmap for adopting technology while achieving proportionate improvements in clinical outcomes as they progress along the value chain of technology adoption.

Health Parliament’s unique methodology takes into account the 'quantum of Digital Health data usage' by each doctor and maps it to the corresponding impact on clinical processes and outcomes. The model is derived from a weighted measure of sub-parameters defined within three broad dimensions: 'adoption as users, validators, and new knowledge creators'.

This proprietary model abstracts itself from ongoing developments within the 'Digital Health technologies building segment'. It is modeled as a 'learning and development' framework-driven 'knowledge to practice model'. Health Parliament's research reveals that such an approach will help overcome barriers to building and adopting Digital Health frameworks, enabling a swift rationalization and harmonization of evolving digital healthcare-driven scenarios within communities, nation-states, and international collaborations. This synergy aligns with the development and execution of evolving health system policies.

SMART Hospitals’ Suite and SMART Clinicians’ Suite

Given the crucial role of digital transformation in healthcare across the value chain and the continuum of care, hospitals and clinics are increasingly adopting technology. However, a significant challenge arises due to the multitude of solution providers, each claiming superiority over the others. This situation often leads to confusion among healthcare organizations, hospitals, clinics, and doctors when it comes to selecting the most suitable technology. In the absence of right guidance and incorrect tools, choices can result in squandering substantial investments and operational inefficiencies, thereby impacting the hospitals' and clinics' day-to-day functions. Consequently, this erosion of operational efficacy can undermine confidence in the utility of technology in the provision of care and optimizing resources. After engaging with various hospitals, clinics, doctors, and providers, it became evident that there is a pressing need to establish a mechanism to identify appropriate technologies with robust checks and balances. The objective is to impartially assess the utility of these technologies and, subsequently, empanel them as part of the SMART Hospitals’ Suite and SMART Clinicians’?Suite.

We look forward to your participation in transforming healthcare together!
