Health Information Professionals Week 2020

Health Information Professionals Week 2020

The AHIMA and OrHIMA invites all health information professionals to join the celebration and be recognized during the 31st annual Health Information Professionals (HIP) Week. HIP Week will run from March 22 through March 28. This year’s theme—connecting people, systems, and ideas—highlights the unique skills, abilities, experiences, and actions at the heart of the health information profession. Connect on social media using #HIPWEEK20.

HIP Week is a wonderful opportunity for professionals to showcase the benefits of their profession, working collectively to deliver quality healthcare through quality information.

Managing health information is vital as new technology, funding, and policies continue to evolve. Because of the numerous complexities within the current healthcare landscape the training and skill-sets of health information professionals are required for the efficient organization and management of health information as well as fostering innovation. It is because of these professionals that the healthcare industry will continue to grow and advance in patient care and safety.

Join us March 22-28 in honoring all of you who are connecting people, systems, and ideas.

Health Information Professionals Week is a showcase for the thousands of health information management (HIM) professionals who perform their duties masterfully throughout the year. AHIMA and OrHIMA are honored to provide support, representation, and training to HIM professionals for these valuable contributions to the healthcare industry.
