Health first! Even before your Dreams!!

In 2018 I was living in Gurgaon, from more than 3 years.

We had started a new office in Sector 18,

It is 1 of the worst decisions i believe we made.

Why was it the worst decision?

Well i lost my most important asset in life in that 1 year, and that was my "Health"

In the morning i would reach office, living as a single (& motivated) entrepreneur , i would usually miss morning meal. The office location was at such a Polluted place, by noon, you could feel that you are not breathing Air but something else. Factory Pollution used to turn that region into something else.

1 Mess Guy used to bring Food for lunch that was not good quality, and there were no clean or good options nearby. If you miss lunch, now you have missed 2 diets. So there were a lot of missed diets. i would not deny sometimes i used to miss diets just to save more for travelling if i had to go somewhere far for a meeting. This used to happen.

Not to mention the Noise Pollution and Air pollution of transit that every NCR resident knows.

i would go back after everyone has left the office by 8 pm. Partially bcz i loved my work and also partially to avoid the traffic jams.

A lot of stress all day was evident, as i had to manage product development, business development and a lot more.

Whenni reached room, sometimes the washroom would give a smell like that of a gutter. The AC was defective as it would either work on full cold or none. The curtains were not enough to block outside light. I used to complain about these to the landlord, but his answer was pay and fix yourself, the previous tenet had no problem so you must have caused it. Finding a new place was a headache i had no time for. I would have a bad sleep and restart the cycle over..

This bad lifestyle of missing diets, air pollution, bad food, bad sleep and stressed out work load went on for 1 year and by the end of the year, i started noticing problems with my vision.

I had developed #Keratoconus.

An irreversible disease of the eye with no treatment. It turns you partially and sometimes totally blind.

I ended up loosing 1 eye completely to this disease and now i have to take continuous care that I don't loose another one.

My health and vitality by the end of the year was so bad that i was having multiple health issues 1 after another.

Finally after all this i decided to guve up that office, that City and that lifestyle altogether, and we moved our office to Chandigarh - the most beautiful city in north India.

My purpose of sharing this content today is to bring to light this side of entrepreneurship and to request all my struggling fellow entrepreneurs to never give anything more importance than your health.

Health is the real wealth.

Entrepreneurship is Hard, And we all do a lot, a lot, for our dream project. We do a lot. But always take care that this struggle does not lead a damage of your personal health and wellness.

Health & Wellness is above all.
