Yesterday, we got moving! How did that go for you? Did you actively add in ways to move a little more throughout the day? Did you take a walk after dinner? Dance a jig? Did you log a few extra steps? Exercise has a profound effect on our mental, emotional and physical health. And remember...
It ALL adds up. :)
Speaking of moving, let's move on to Tip #4: NURTURE YOUR BRAIN.
Enhancing your overall brain health will make it SO much easier for you to stick with habits that feel natural. By nurturing our brains, we not only nurture our bodies and our overall health, but we can better treat underlying issues, like anxiety and depression, as well.
How do we nurture our brain? We eat REAL food. We MEDITATE daily (even just a few minutes of deep breathing helps!). We drink WATER. We EXERCISE. We practice GRATITUDE. We nurture healthy RELATIONSHIPS. We challenge our BRAIN. And we have more FUN!
