HEALING SUGAR ADDICTION: Tip #10

HEALING SUGAR ADDICTION: Tip #10

You're HERE! You MADE it! Tip #10 of our 10 Tips To HEAL SUGAR ADDICTION. Ready for this one? Good. :) It's got NOTHING to do with food and EVERYTHING to do with the things you do, the people you care for and the way you spend your time.

Here goes. Tip #10: BE OF SERVICE.

When we take the focus off ourselves and place it on others, we can stay mindful that we are part of a collective; we are not meant to navigate this whole life alone. We need others, and others need us. Volunteering and serving others can offer a sense of purpose, which can help us stop the incessant desire to escape (using food, sugar and other distractions). Getting out and helping others helps us reclaim our lives, which reaffirms our decisions to keep going along this path.

So, what do you think? Will you use some (or all) of these ten tips? Avoiding sugar and junk food altogether isn't easy in a world that puts over 20,000 "food-like-products" on store shelves annually. And having the occasional junk food as a "treat" isn't the end of the world. But when we know what we truly want and, more importantly WHY we want it, and when we begin to make the food-mood connection while realizing that we co-create these lives of ours rather than being dragged around by life, and when we actively begin to make choices that align with our DECISIONS to change, our whole lives look different.

It's awesome!

But it's a process and it takes time, so while you're working at things, remember to be gentle on yourself. Have compassion the way you would for a small child--in fact, thinking of yourself as a child has the capacity to help you cultivate greater self-compassion, self-trust, and self-love. And as I often say, we don't hate our bodies to good health; we love them there.

Let me know how all of this served you!

P.S. Want To Work With Me?

Would you like to go deeper and begin to excavate your BEST LIFE? If you choose to join my next round of One Bite at A Time (OBAAT) group coaching, you will not only be able to finally break free from old patterns that have kept you stuck, but you will be creating a lifestyle that you don't feel the need to escape from!

I'd love to work together, if you feel called. I am confident I am the coach to help you truly reach your health and wellness goals. Be forewarned: We go DEEP! My program is the result of over 17 years of creating a lifestyle I love and living in a body that feels like HOME. While we share recipes and meal ideas and exercise tips, the work we do gets to the ROOT CAUSE of our habits and behaviours. In this way, we don't simply take the next step, we transcend the staircase! If this sounds interesting to you, I invite you to visit the website to learn more at OBAATCoaching.com.

Remember...we get ONE body. We get ONE life. Let's make the MOST of it!

P.P.S. Oh, I almost forgot the BEST part! Once you join OBAAT ONE time, you will have LIFETIME access to not only your content (the weekly videos, homework, extras, etc.) but you'll have access to ALL future rounds of OBAAT for FREE. Some of my students have been with me for almost a year! They keep reaffirming their WHY. They keep digging deeper into old patterns. They keep learning new strategies and protocols. They connect more deeply with themselves and others. They build on exercise regimens that support their health. They cook new recipes they may not have otherwise tried. They have more fun than they have ever had in another lifestyle program. And they keep coming back to support others and to be of service. I love it. And I'd love for you to experience it, too. OBAATCoaching.com.
