Healing can Happen!

Healing is incredibly powerful, yet more than 50% of the process depends on the person undergoing it. This happens because no individual, doctor, or healer can effectively treat someone who does not wish to be treated, nourished, and healed. As a result, doctors and healers merely provide the tools; the true healing process is intrinsic to the individual. Confronting this truth, I found it a “tough pill to swallow,” creating several questions in my mind:
A while back, I asked myself these and many more questions. The overall decision was: YES, I want to be healed.
I embraced it! I faced the challenges one by one. During this process, I realized it’s a lifelong journey, not a sprint that ends just around the corner. Yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way because I aim to live my life to the fullest, embracing the best experiences possible.
So, let’s start at the very beginning — a very good place to start.
Question: Where to start a healing journey?
I would answer this question as follows: by making a personal decision and choice to acknowledge the need for change in your life and taking responsibility for it.
To be healed, we must acknowledge our inner ghosts, fears, and fragilities just as much as we recognize our inner strength and power. The journey begins with love in our hearts, minds, and souls. Because loving ourselves and what surrounds us is the focus we should have for our existence to come through. Several authors talk about Healing, and it can be seen in different “layers” or philosophies. We can decide to choose the one we identify with the most.
These three authors that I especially care about are Carl Jung, the founder of Analytical Psychology, known for his theory of the collective unconscious; Abraham Maslow, known for his creation, The Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs; and Bert Hellinger, the founder of Family Constellations, Systemic Constellations, and also in recent years, the Movements of the Spirit-Mind.
We can choose to heal the body, mind, soul — or all three together. Nevertheless, I believe we live life as one and our “elements” can’t be separated, so healing, in my perspective, must be seen holistically, as a whole! In my healing process and self-growth path, I elected the option: Do it all together—body, mind, and soul—addressing the overall Essence of our being.
Question: How do we know we need to start a healing process?
Well, there are some questions you can ask yourself. For example, did you ever have or still have:
And if you have some “yes” answers, this is, for sure, a path for you to explore.
I have been doing this in my personal life for a long time, consequently, I decided to do this as a professional career also. That is why I studied what I studied and why I chose to do the journey that I am doing, so I could understand the Human Being as a Whole Integrated Entity. If you want to give it a try, give yourself a chance. Consider joining your journey with mine and walk this path with our lives touching each other. As simple as that!

Additionally, I will share a “challenge” to start your journey, in the form of an exercise, that needs a few minutes to fulfil.
For now, I am saying…
See you soon because I know I will see you along the way…

Exercise
Composed in 2 parts: before starting, read everything to the end and find a piece of paper or a notebook, some writing or drawing utensils at your wish. Enjoy every moment, bring your thoughts with you and focus on what you doing.
Part 1
Face yourself in a mirror, looking directly into your own eyes, and breathe slowly In & Out a few times. Begin by reading out loud, 3 times in a row, all these words slowly and heartfelt (keep on breathing and focusing your eyes in the mirror): “I love you no matter where you are! I Love You unconditionally, despite the decisions you will choose to embrace. I love you and I will never forsake you!”
Part 2
Find a place where you can spend 10 minutes contemplating what surrounds you (it can be in your house window, balcony, garden, or outside – choose where you want to be). What is there for you to see? Focus on your breathing for around 10 mins time. At the end, write 5 short sentences or draw approximately 5 images about how that makes you feel. Take note (only for you) if you classify them as “positive” or “negative”. – save it for future understanding…
Remember: Write/draw the first things that come to your mind.

Yours on this Journey, Sandra.
