Headway Welcomes Lorraine Buhannic as Our First Chief People Officer

We’re excited to announce that Lorraine Buhannic has joined Headway as our first Chief People Officer! Lorraine is a seasoned people leader and human resources (HR) executive, bringing extensive experience scaling operations and culture at high-growth technology companies.?

Lorraine’s deep passion for developing talent and her unwavering commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion make her the perfect fit to lead our people-focused efforts.?

Before joining Headway, Lorraine was the Senior Vice President and Head of Talent at Juxtapose, an investment firm with a significant health care presence, where she led the talent team and helped portfolio companies build and scale top-notch people teams and strategies. Earlier in her career, she was the Chief People Officer at Orchard, where she built the people team and infrastructure, ultimately scaling the company from 80 to 1,000 employees. Prior to Orchard, she helped to scale two of New York City’s most successful companies – Squarespace and AppNexus – hiring and developing hundreds of employees across each organization.?

In addition to her impressive background, Lorraine’s inclination to Think Future-First and Be Relationship-Obsessed – two of Headway’s core values – makes her a great fit for our collaborative culture.?

Lorraine is also an accomplished executive coach, a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a certified Co-Active Coach (CTI). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
