Head in the Clouds..... 

RAW-NYC Architects' design for the women’s building in New York City.. transforming what was a correctional facility for women (Bay View correction facility) on 20th street and 11th Avenue in Manhattan to a hub for women’s empowerment.. 

The perfect type of project for me to design! 

As some of you already know, I am very passionate about designing buildings / transforming buildings and urban spaces that empower people and give them sense of freedom and hope. Spaces and buildings that define and articulate the hopes and the aspirations of the people who inhabit them!

This was submitted about this time last year! We are only able to share it now due to the confidentiality of the project. 

I want to thank my incredible team who worked very hard on the project and gave it all.. We will be sharing RAW-NYC drawings soon! we will also announce to whom we decided to dedicate the design of the building! 

Although the project was ultimately awarded to Deborah Berke - and we are very happy for her and wish her all the luck.. .. 

We do believe in our design and we are very proud of the work we did!
