Surprisingly this may be one of the only updates on LinkedIn where we will not talk about the collapse of SVG or updates saying 'U WILL PERISH WITHOUT THESE CHATGPT HACKS' because as the title states, these are the news articles you may have missed. News you may have missed such as, MIT answered the age old question: What’s the best way to open an Oreo? for even filling (after twisting 1000 Oroes, no matter the twisting speed, 80% will stick to one side).

Deep Green are keeping your public swimming pools warm

Deep Green’s strategy is to immerse its hardware in mineral oil within a laundry machine-sized data box. The oil captures heat from the computers, and that heat is then diverted to the pool above. This setup can heat pools such as one in Devon to 30 degrees Celsius about 60 percent of the time.

The UK government is sending us all a group text on the 23rd April

The UK government is testing a new emergency alert system that will see every phone in the country ring out an alarm on April 23. The emergency alerts service is designed to warn citizens if their life is at risk. The alert will sound during events such as severe flooding, fire or terrorist attack.

Microsoft one step closer to being carbon negative by 2030
