??NEW from GPAHE: The Election Denial Industry is Ramping Up for 2024

In 2020, several far-right groups emerged and amplified Trump's baseless allegations that the vote was rigged and riddled with fraud. Now, as the 2024 presidential election approaches, many of these same groups, alongside others, are intensifying their efforts and false messaging that elections are plagued with voter fraud, instilling fear of possible election manipulation in November. To safeguard democracy, it is imperative that civil society is aware of groups spreading election denial, so we have profiled six prominent organizations involved in this activity. GPAHE reported on election denial groups in 2022 as well. Explore further to understand how far-right groups are continuing to push falsehoods about elections and voting.

A significant number of Hungarian institutions, generously financed by that country’s government, are actively forging influential networks in the United States and Europe. By working with far-right allies overseas, their objective is to sway democracies towards the policies of the Orbán regime, characterized by the EU parliament as an "electoral autocracy." This development is deeply troubling, and GPAHE is closely monitoring it. We have reported on the concerning ties between Orbán and officials from the Heritage Foundation, which is leading the rights-stripping Project 2025. Additionally, our co-founders penned an op-ed shedding light on the Heritage Foundation’s plan to use Trump as an instrument for importing Orbánism into the US.
