???The New York Times: Man Plotted Mass Shooting in Atlanta to Incite ‘Race War,’ Officials Say

“Mark Adams Prieto hatched a plan to carry out a mass shooting targeting Black people and other people of color at a concert in Atlanta in May. Mr. Prieto intended for the shooting to incite a “race war” before the presidential election. He suggested leaving behind Confederate flags at the attack site and shouting things like “Black lives don’t matter, white lives matter,” to make clear the shooting was racially motivated.”

GPAHE’s Take: This attempt to plan and carry out a mass shooting as a means to incite a ‘race war’ is known as ‘accelerationism.’ Accelerationism is a violent ideology endorsed by terrorist organizations like the Atomwaffen Division, whose members were arrested last year for planning an attack that would have taken down Baltimore’s power grid.
