I must have been the contrasting colors. I found that pretty soothing.
Anyway, with a mixture of client work, client calls, and book writing insanity this week (we're nearly at 200 pages!), I wanted to drip out here some material from the book that you might not see until it's out (which now feels like June, but it will go fast, promise!) It's moving along really well and I'm feeling...
The thing is, we all want to feel accomplished. We all chase that singular moment of completion where, yes, we have finished what we set out to do. We've typed away our little hearts out and we got to the end of the and then...we forgot something!
Well, that happened here with this piece this week, but I let it go.
That was a b-side of the book. I love what I had to say there, but it didn't really work. There's probably going to be much more of that in the coming weeks as I "Strive for 225!"
That's the page count I am shooting for. I think that five times my initial goal is pretty great. That's something that I can do reasonably well. 5 seems reasonable. Like a good, honest number.
Here's something new, just for you:
It's a mess, but it's mine! A little blurry, even.
This just makes me want to edit more.
