The headline grabbed my attention: "How to Retain More From the Books You Read in 5 Simple Steps"
Then in the 2nd paragraph the author stated, "It’s not about how many books you read, it’s about how much you retain from what you read."
I disagree and almost stopped reading because it isn't just about RETENTION but rather the APPLICATION of the information learned.
Later in the article, the author discusses, "Remember: Knowledge alone is completely useless."
"There’s nothing sadder than a well-read person who holds himself captive by the four walls of his room. You must go out there and apply things you learn."
I'm glad I kept reading.
