This year, Headlands Hotel’s entertainment areas have undergone a refreshing new facelift. The talented team at Mori + Curll , in charge of the interior design, have brought a vibrant, contemporary touch to the space while preserving its relaxed coastal charm.?

The redesigned main bar, café, and beer garden now feature a harmonious blend of natural materials, modern finishes, and sweeping ocean views. With an emphasis on comfort and style, these revamped spaces invite guests to unwind and indulge in a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere.

“We were engaged to give the main bar, cafe and beer garden a refreshing new look. Utilising Knotwood timber look profiles on the ceiling of the beer garden, main bar, decks and cafe to soften the space and add texture.”

Mori & Curll selected Knotwood as the superior choice to enhance the venue’s appearance. 25x25mm Battens and 100mm Cladding Boards in ‘Nordic Oak’ (installed by Brown Commercial Building ) have been incorporated into the spaces’ ceilings, bringing the warmth and beauty of natural coastal timber textures and tones without the usual upkeep.
