Headlamp is thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) Hub, marking a significant step forward in our mission to rebuild the backbone of American business with veterans. This partnership enables us to offer SkillBridge Fellowships at NEMC Hub member locations (over 170 potential employers!), with roles across the microelectronics value chain: research, engineering, business development, technicians, logistics, IT, etc. As always, with Headlamp, we treat every fellowship as a full-time hiring event.
To support this effort, we will launch a dedicated website to advertise fellowship opportunities and allow employers to view veterans interested in these roles.
The Northeast Microelectronics Coalition Hub (NEMC) is part of the Microelectronics Commons program, a network of regional technology Hubs acting on a shared mission: to expand the nation’s global leadership in microelectronics.? NEMC is one of 8 hubs selected by NSTXL (National Security Technology Accelerator) under the Microelectronics Commons award of the Chips and Science Act. This selection marks them as a pivotal player in the U.S. microelectronics sector, dedicated to enhancing the domestic microelectronics ecosystem through collaboration, innovation, and training. They aim to secure the supply chain, promote workforce development, and foster research and development in microelectronics.
