Heading into Q2 with the wind in our sails!

As quick as it started, the first quarter of 2024 is now behind us... and what a fantastic one it was across our group of businesses. It has been a time of strong growth, with each part of the group not only meeting but exceeding their targets. This success is a testament to the innovative strategies and relentless pursuit of excellence that define our vision as a group.

Proudly launching the Elite Learning Facility

The successful launch of the Elite Learning Facility stands out as a crowning achievement for us during Q1. Having launched just a few months ago, ELF will support major utility groups across the whole of the UK and is one of the only providers that offer training courses across the whole utility sector. ELF deliver a range of courses designed to meet the needs of businesses and staff working in the utilities sector. Its range of utilities qualifications support the construction, installation and maintenance of the infrastructure our economy relies upon on a daily basis. They provide the underpinning skills and knowledge for those working on gas, water and electricity distribution networks, as well as those responsible for the direct supervision and operation of winter services vehicles and equipment on the highway network. In addition, many of these qualifications are considered a licence to practice, and an essential requirement to work in some of the industries within the utilities and ancillary sectors.?

Strong growth across the Group in Q1

From our talent solutions business at Core Group to the fantastic team of outsourcing experts at Everett Sky , Q1 showed that the team have the bit between their teeth to make 2024 even bigger than 2023. We set some ambitious goals, and we're well on track with them so far.

I have been particularly delighted to see the level of effort and enthusiasm increasing - I've always been a firm believer that you get out what you put in, and we've built a team across our group that fully understand and apply that ethos every day.

Q2 is off to a strong start (10 days in, but the early signs are good...).
