"The headhunter's story"?

"The headhunter's story"

In lockdown, I wrote a book, and I've now published it.

Only just released, here's one of the reviews on Amazon!

"From a childhood of outward privilege but very little family support and love, this man has been on a rollercoaster journey both personally and professionally. I admire his total honesty about some difficult emotional experiences that most men would be reluctant or too proud to share.

This is definitely a must-read book for anyone in a high-stress job, relationship - or both!"

"The headhunter's story"

This book is about the ups and downs of life. It’s my story.

In it, I take you through my experiences in life. From modest beginnings in the industrial North of England, my father was posted abroad, and I was sent to boarding school aged 7.

As an adult, I hit the big time in recruitment in the fullness of time, living in an 11 bedroomed house, playing polo and enjoying a millionaire lifestyle.

We all dream of making lots of money, driving fast cars, living in a big house and flying first class to faraway places.

In my story, I share with you my journey to making it and how my life unravelled.

It’s about how I wasn’t happy, proceeded to encounter one crisis after another, experiencing emotional trauma, tremendous highs and lows. I would never have imagined my life would be such a spectacular and unpredictable journey.

Whilst many books are about people who made a fortune, and how they made it. This book’s about how I made a fortune and lost it. Hero to zero!

Hero to zero is a phenomenon.

Men don’t open up about abuse and feeling. I do.

About a man, the complex feelings of a man talking about things men don’t want to open up about – things I don’t want to open up about.

This is a real-life story outlining the crises I’ve experienced in my life, including finding love, making millions, encountering setbacks of a titanic nature, separation and then freedom followed by despair. Death of a loved one and then coming to understand how painful grief can be.

Being crushed by what had happened.

It’s about handling crises, anxiety, chronic stress, grief and betrayal. What I’ve done to recover and how I ultimately found happiness.

So, that's the synopsis on the back cover.

People who have read pre-release versions have loved it.

It's now available as a finished version.

You can find it on Amazon, it's available in a Paperback or Kindle format.
