A Global Law firm is recruiting for a Head of Legal Tech for a 12 to 14 month contact to cover for Maternity with the potential to Join the firm in another role at the end of the FT Contract.
You will have the ultimate responsibility for delivering the Legal Tech strategy at the firm, ensuring this is implemented as planned (working with product managers for each category of tool and with the managers of the legal tech operations and solutions teams) and to adapt strategy (as and when needed) on consultation with Director of Innovation if changes are required.
You will manage a team of 6 direct reports and by extension, responsibility for a wider team of 13.
- Be people oriented with human centred approach to management, with experience managing teams of 3+.
- Have experience of building and delivering a strategy, along with reporting on success.
- Understand and take interest in the application of legal technology and how it can be used to contribute to change within the legal industry.
- Ideally have experience across a range of legal tech tools including for example HighQ, Kira, Litera Transact etc.
- Ideally have product management experience.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic to solve complex problems.
- Be solution oriented and have a pro-active approach.
- Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks on simultaneous projects.
- Have excellent attention to detail and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
- Be a self-starter, problem-solver and have a curious mindset.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
