The successful candidate will lead and grow a team of delegate sales professionals and be responsible for registering c-level executives from the biggest UK and European corporations to the client’s ?invitation-only meetings, events and summits. Must have a “hands on” approach & lead from the front.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Delegate Acquisition will be responsible for:
●?????Recruiting and developing a high calibre high energy delegate sales team
●?????Defining and embedding a "fit for purpose" sales process and strategy
●?????Consistently meeting/exceeding event targets
●?????Managing weekly/monthly sales reporting and forecasting

Core Responsibilities
●?????Direct management and development of 3-5 delegate sales executives initially and scale-up going forward
●?????Recruiting and training high calibre candidates
●?????Meeting and exceeding team and events targets
●?????Embedding clear sales process
●?????Resource scheduling and campaign planning across all events
●?????Drive visible pipeline activity and growth by creating a high activity sales environment
●?????Work closely with the production, marketing operations and sponsorship sales teams to deliver event targets/goals
●?????Accurate weekly/monthly sales reporting, forecasting and commission calculations
●?????Lead from the front and pitch c-level executives when required
●?????Contributing to the wider management team to take the business forward

Requirements
●?????A minimum of 6 years management in B2B telephone sales
●?????Ability to identify excellent talent subsequently leading and coaching them to grow a team
●?????Consistency in delivering targets and meeting KPIs
●?????Inspirational leadership creating the right environment for a sales team to thrive
●?????Excellent communication skills
●?????Outstanding ability to collaborate and work well across teams/functions
●?????Proven experience in events delegate sales/management is an advantage
