"He should have done out of camera view."
I woke up this morning to this comment that was posted on a well respected retired law enforcement friend (and Great Human!) Facebook Page by one of HIS Facebook friends. This was posted by a not so well respected RETIRED life long Deputy Sheriff from Riverside County Sheriffs Department in California. A person whom I used to work with. This person posted in response to my friend sharing his disgust and anger towards the actions of the Minneapolis Police officer who put his knee into the neck of Mr. George Floyd.
These are just some of the feelings I felt after reading his post:
Disgusted
Embarrassed
Sad
Pissed Off
FOCUSED
MOTIVATED
To the person who wrote this attached post:
You want attention. You got it.
You are a complete embarrassment to each and every single hard working, ethical, and honest law enforcement officer in this nation......current and retired. You made their jobs harder and much more dangerous. You are a racist. I am now truly concerned for the validity, credibility, justification for each and every investigation you were EVER involved in. I believe during your career you participated and or condoned events similar to what happened to Mr. George Floyd. I'm worried that there may be individuals in custody or that have done prison time simply because you are a racist. Unfortunately, I understand clearly that you are just a small part of this national pandemic called racism.
When you read this....and I know you will. I will be more than happy to give you an opportunity to continue to share your views publicly.
No respect for you.

4 年Character is all about what you do when people are NOT looking. Nothing makes this right! The individual who wrote the “out of camera view” needs to look at himself and his character or lack thereof.
