H.E Houlin Zhao ITU Secretary General visits EBTIC

The Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), H.E Houlin Zhao visited EBTIC on the 14th March 2016. Mr. Zhao who was accompanied by Mr Nasser Bin Hammad, Senior manager for international affairs at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in the UAE (TRA) toured EBTIC as part of his visit to Khalifa University. The visit included an introduction to EBTIC by Dr. Samer Al Samahi, EBTIC Director, followed by presentations from a number of EBTIC researchers on key research projects at the centre. The visitors were also accompanied by senior Khalifa University executives; Dr. Arif Al Hammadi Executive Vice President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mualla, Senior Vice President, Research & Graduate Studies and Dr. Hassan Al Muhairi, Director of Graduate Studies at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
