HBS class - it's a wrap
This week, I wrapped up teaching my Harvard Business School class called “Managing Tech Ventures”. I had a great experience teaching about 100 second year MBA students how to run a big tech company. I co-taught the class with Professor Jeffrey Rayport, a longtime Harvard professor.
In my final class, I did a wrap-up discussion of all the cases we taught this semester -- Disney Plus, Liberty Media, Zillow, Zulily, Netflix, Hulu, TripAdvisor and GOAT. I also covered some topics of additional interest to the students including my thoughts on the importance of diversity in tech, the government versus big tech, and how to hack virtual mentorship.
Thanks to Harvard Business School for having me this semester. If my students enjoyed it as much as I did, then it was a success.
