Why HBO will likely choose this NFL team

Now that the NCAA Final Four tournaments are over last week news broke that HBO Hard Knocks narrowed their list to just 4 final NFL teams. We may not learn which one is selected until later this summer. The debut is set to stream this August, however on HBO MAX.

In 2021 The Dallas Cowboys were featured which provided me with ample opportunity for more content as a Fan Base Creator. As a whole now each year this event becomes organic content to share with you here.

To cut to the chase I believe the New York Jets will get the thumbs up. Only if however Aaron Rodgers lands in New York as a Jet. Thinking from outside the box HBO MAX would like to garner the most streams as possible.

Why the Jets and not the other 3 teams? What are we waiting on?

The other 3 have their respective arguments. Derek Carr in a Saints uniform after leaving Las Vegas. You know where next season's Super Bowl will be. Of course, the Bears traded their number one overall pick in the NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers. Covering major ground in surrounding Justin Fields with moves that equal win now this free agency.

Then of course there's the Washington Commander turmoil as owner Dan Snyder is selling the team and trying to stay out of hot water in the process. Head Coach Ron Rivera now teams up with Super Bowl pedigree offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Just why did he leave Kansas City for Washington?

Each NFL preseason brings fans a new season of HBO’s?Hard Knocks. The compelling docuseries takes a behind-the-scenes look at one franchise as it prepares for the upcoming season and makes some tough roster decisions to whittle the team down to 53 active roster players.?

Few teams would actively volunteer to have HBO’s crew hanging around during those crucial preseason weeks, so the NFL has created eligibility guidelines outlining which teams can be chosen in a given year.

Since 2014, teams have been exempt from being the focus of that year’s?Hard Knocks?season if they have a first-year head coach, have been a playoff team in the last two seasons, or if they’ve appeared on?Hard Knocks?in the last decade.

That leaves four NFL franchises eligible to be featured on the 2023 season of HBO’s show. All four have the potential for fun seasons, but there is a clear winner at No. 1.

Without having to play each other in an elimination-style format we simply have to wait until July to learn which team gets the proverbial nod. Stick around once we learn which team is selected there will be more to follow here.
