Haze Alerts in Singapore

I had visited a vessel yesterday at the Eastern boarding grounds and the Haze seemed to be quite bad out there. As if on cue, the MPA has now released a couple of port marine notices on the subject.

The Haze alert - 24 Hrs PSI level gives an indication of the increasing levels of Haze in the surroundings and as far as Navigation in the Straits is concerned, another port marine notice warns that the visibility in the straits may be severely reduced.

In case you are worried about the levels of haze in the city and your house, you may wish to check up the official updates. The winds over the near future seem to be blowing in from the south so looks like it will be hazy in SG for the near future, but there may be a few showers today and tomorrow so hopefully that will help.
