Recent days I started a professional fellowship within the framework of ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) exchange programme in Berlin, #Germany. And I have prepared you some (heavy) exciting reading for your weekend...??
I have introduced you #ifa in my previous article here. Today I want to introduce you a Germany based international consulting company BlackForest Solutions GmbH . They are hosting me for 3 months for experience exchange, learning and finding prospectus. I am very thankful to ifa coordinators matching me with a company having focus on engineering solutions, international and dynamic knowledge-based approach.
You can learn more about them here and here. But, quick snapshot of their scope goes within and beyond:
Below are several cases from their portfolio.
Since 2018, BFS started working to ensure the safe and sound recyling and disposal of #ewaste in Ghana at a dumpsite which is considered to be one of the world’s most toxic places.
In 2021, BFS is helping to improve the #medicalwaste treatment sector in #UAE by supervising the operations and maintenance of two high temperature rotary kiln facilities in the country.?

In 2022, BFS conducted technical audits of 6 hazardous waste complexes in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia treating and disposing wastes from oil and gas industry.
In 2022, the technical assistance to support Caribbean ACP countries with enforcement and compliance with the Basel, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Minamata and Cartagena (BRSMC) Conventions
Blackforest Solutions is growing and the team is managed by two founding partners Kevin Negoro Kasih and Sebastian Frisch . The team is dynamic, international and globally located in several countries. Hopefully, I will manage to introduce them to you soon.
The first day of my visit to Blackforest there was very heavy rain shower. Once I come in, BFS office has seemed to me as an oasis. We used to say in Central Asia: "How does the doorstep of a household looks like, that is the inner side of personalities living there".
The management, the staff and environment is magnetising with diligence as this doorstep!
In Eco Mons Vita we work on making use of new approaches on circular economy in Uzbekistan. And I am happy that our institutional ties are constantly widening along with our expertise and scopes.
IT WAS LONG READ TODAY ... so Mood music for you special today
