UK offshore energy trade body Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has said that Scotland’s new hydrogen export strategy can build on the nation’s industrial strengths and unlock a £93 billion export opportunity if firms are now backed with a clear action plan to attract investment and talent.
A total of 16 nominees have been shortlisted across four categories for the Hazardex Awards 2025, designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector. The winners of the industry’s most prestigious awards will be announced during a Gala Dinner at Hazardex Live 2025 on 26 February in Harrogate.

SGN has reached a key milestone on its H100 Fife project, with the completion of the construction of the world’s first domestic hydrogen gas network in Levenmouth, Fife. Green hydrogen gas, created using renewable electricity from a local 7MW offshore wind turbine, will flow through the new 8.4km network when it goes live next year.
North Ridge Pumps Ltd recently dispatched two brand new ATEX long-coupled centrifugal gas oil pumps to a client. They’re going to be used for high-volume marine diesel transfer from tankers to tanks and storage vessels.
