Hayes & Partners promotes Jack Mackellar to Consultant!

Recently, one of our financial services Associates, Jack Mackellar was promoted to Consultant!?

Jack has made tremendous progress at Hayes & Partners and has been able to successfully guide his clients and candidates towards outstanding accomplishments.

We sat down with Jack and asked him to reflect on his time at Hayes & Partners so far -?

What area of executive search do you specialise in?

I specialise in the European Private Equity Markets and look to improve the lives and careers of candidates across the European continent.

I really enjoy working across the different areas within financial services whether it's working alongside growth funds or large cap private equity funds to help transform their teams.

What does this promotion mean for you at H&P?

This promotion means a lot to me. It’s great to progress further within Hayes & Partners and enjoy some of the freedom that comes with this promotion. I’m excited to grow more within the company and am looking forward to opening new markets and create new revenue opportunities.?

What does the future look like for you at H&P?

The future looks bright for Hayes & Partners. We just had back-to-back record months in terms of revenue and my team specifically – Banking & Finance Europe & US – have found great consistency in a relatively tough market. Everyone is pulling their weight and we’re all succeeding together. So, alongside the personal success that comes with a promotion I’m excited to celebrate with the team and keep pushing together.

What do you enjoy about recruitment?

The thing I most enjoy about recruitment is the conversations and relationships you build with clients and candidates. Earning someone’s trust and finding something that is right for them is one of the most enjoyable aspects of recruitment. I’ve been able to build some lasting relationships with my clients connecting over sports or travel and it’s really rewarding when you’re able to help them solve a problem or bring in a new hire you know will transform their business.?

What is one of your favourite memories about working at H&P?

Too many to think of! One of my favourite memories at Hayes & Partners has got to be opening the Partners Group account for their HQ in Zug. It was a large placement fee which was exciting for me personally and it’s one of the biggest and best funds in Europe making it really cool to work alongside them.
