knowledge comes from the word "Know"
knowledge is the act of knowing something you didn't know.
The word "Act" represent an action, meaning, you're oblige "to do" something. (Very Important) I.e to read, to listen, to look etc
The word "Knowing" based on my definition puts you in a box of not having an idea of something.
& finally
The word "Something" represent a "Noun" such as a place, a thing, an idea, a person, etc
For instance, if I should tell you who wrote this article now, which you had no idea of earlier & now you know, what it simply means is that "now you have acquired knowledge".
That is all about acquiring knowledge.
But
In the world of knowledge and someone being knowledgeable, it has to do with stages; For you to be knowledgeable you have to know more than the person who just have knowledge, simply because I can only call you knowledgeable if you know more than me. That happens as result of not just reading or listening or looking but reading a lot more, listening a lot more, looking a lot more.
because
A wiseman once said "You gain more by giving, You get more by building & You learn more by listening - John Bryant
So now you decide the person you want to be; A person of knowledge or A knowledgeable person?
