Having a Ball at the Sphere—and Elsewhere—during NADA 2024!
I thought I had seen it all.
This was my 23rd time going to NADA. I’ve been to Vegas a lot and I’m no stranger to the shows and attractions they have out there. But this year’s festivities defied my expectations.
NADA did a great job with their kickoff event at the Sphere. It was incredible. I had a serious case of sensory overload. The experience was unlike anything I had seen before—no offense to Siegfried & Roy—and it went beyond what I thought entertainment could be. Which was fitting given that the theme for Reynolds this year was “Go Beyond."
That message got a lot of attention on the show floor. It’s been a long time since I have seen it so crowded. And we were busy in the Reynolds booth. Dealers wanted to see everything we had to offer instead of rushing to their next destination. It was not uncommon for dealers and their teams to set up shop and spend a full day with us.

The positive energy was apparent as well. Dealers were excited and upbeat about what they were seeing from us and what they were hearing about us from across the industry.
Another positive was having a fantastic group of Northwood University students in the booth as interns. Northwood is doing a tremendous job of preparing the next generation to help support and drive the continued advancement of the automotive retail ecosystem. This is an impressive group of student professionals that makes me confident about our future!
When I arrived back in Dayton, I had all the usual symptoms of someone who just attended NADA. Sore feet. Sleep deprivation. No desire to unpack. But I also felt invigorated about our industry and our company’s direction. I’m ready to help dealers go beyond what they’ve been told is possible and I’m looking forward to NADA 2025 in New Orleans!
