HAVELSAN IoT Platform: Harmoni

The goal of increasing our country's technology investments to provide benefits for both the public and private sectors depends on how meaningful data is evaluated in the current digital transformation era. Internet of Things (IoT) technology has an indispensable role in security, automation, and productivity-focused applications. HAVELSAN started IoT studies in 2018 with the aim of equipping national-scale oil pipelines with the highest and most up-to-date security systems and thus ensuring maximum critical facility security.

In line with the perspective of today's technology market, with the experience and technological knowledge accumulated over time since the beginning of the project, IoT technology has become so equipped within HAVELSAN that it has become a standalone product under the name "Harmoni." By interpreting the collected data from every connected device to the internet and giving commands based on those interpretations, maximizing the interaction between humans and devices is ensured, enabling the optimization of industrial operations, improvement of facility conditions, and security applications for every industry. This situation can enable cities to integrate into digital transformation most quickly by facilitating data exchange through the internet in every living space evaluated within the vision of smart and secure cities.

Harmoni communicates with devices and sensors via protocols and wireless communication technologies. It provides customizable data visualization tools for data acquisition, storage, and analysis, and makes data analysis significantly easier. The data flow process can be easily monitored through data visualization, scenarios can be created flexibly according to the data flow of multiple devices, and processes can be managed effectively.

Harmoni offers IoT technology to its users in accordance with the following qualities:

·????????Obtaining and visualizing all types of data,

·????????Creating customizable dashboards with the visualized data,

·????????Creating device or condition profiles and managing alarms.

Harmoni allows users to create dashboard designs that enable them to perform statistical data analysis, allowing users to analyze any kind of data. Displayed videos on the Video Management System (VMS) and recorded videos from the past, alarms generated by video analytics applied to the videos, and device health monitoring data viewed on the VMS can also be displayed on the Harmoni interface. Additionally, it provides visualization tools for any kind of data, such as sound, temperature, and pressure, and enables the creation of profiles that trigger commands based on this data. It also offers the ability to store collected data in a PostgreSQL database and to present the data for analysis at any requested time, providing a broad time-scale data interpretation capability.

For example, the statuses of endpoint devices (such as cameras, remotely controllable valves, smart lights, etc.) located in a park can be evaluated for their efficiency. This enables energy savings from overuse, quick response to emergencies, creating proactive situations to prevent incidents, and in short, allowing the user to have complete control over the data circulation in the application field for the most efficient management of data circulation. This is just one example, as numerous similar incidents can be managed.

HAVELSAN aims to create a system by integrating many devices with its Harmoni product and to sustain this system with a smart ecosystem approach. In this context, Harmoni is ready to use for creating smart cyber-physical systems using up-to-date IoT technologies on a wide range of scaling from businesses to facilities, homes to cities.
