Women Rising are embarking on a major research project to understand what women are thinking and feeling about their career and life in 2023. And we want to hear from you.
We value the research reports that are done about the state of women in the workplace, but they are mostly done from the organisation’s perspective, and not from individual women.?
Recent studies show that more than 50% of women want to leave their employer in the next 2 years. We also see that female leaders are switching jobs at the highest rate we’ve ever seen and 46% of women are feeling burned out. We need to know now, more than ever before, what is really happening for women in their careers and lives in 2023, what the driving forces are behind these alarming statistics and how we can best support them.?
We also know that 59% of women have experienced microaggressions and/or harassment at work in the past 12 months, but 93% of them don’t report these behaviours because they don’t believe their employer will take action. What else are they not saying and what impact is it having on their professional lives and more importantly, their personal wellbeing??
In this post-pandemic world, the progress towards reaching gender parity has not only stopped, in many cases it’s reversed. In 2020 we were 100 years from closing the gender pay gap, now we are 135.6 years away. It’s time to get to the truth of women’s lived experiences at work and at home so we can stop going backwards and start making real inroads.
Led by global women’s leadership expert and Women Rising Founder and CEO Megan Dalla-Camina, our Women Rising research asks women to reflect on a series of questions about their career wellbeing, burnout, gender bias, authenticity, leadership, confidence, resilience and more. Our intention is for it to be one of the most relevant surveys of women’s careers and lives in the last decade.
What's it really like being a woman at work and in life right now??This is your chance to have your say and be heard. To share what you really think about your life, career, wellbeing, burnout, gender bias, authenticity, leadership, confidence, resilience and more.
Often women's lives are so subtly conditioned by external power structures that it can be hard to determine what we think, feel and want versus what we have been told to want, what's right for us, how we should behave and the choices we should make. We're told how to look at the world, the meaning to make from it and where our place is in it.?We often don't have time to take care of ourselves and create a life vision or career plan because we are so busy taking care of everyone and everything.

We value the research reports that are done about the state of women in the workplace. But they are mostly done from the organisation’s perspective, and not from individual women. It’s time for that to change. Your privacy is of course assured and your responses to the survey will remain anonymous.
The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, so put aside a little moment for yourself to sit, reflect and share what’s really on your mind.
