Have You Thought About How to Try to Bring the Country Together?

WFXG FOX54 's Brett Baier asks President Trump a brilliant question ahead of the Super Bowl.

First of all, can I just say how refreshing it is to see a media professional ask such a vital question that can actually shift things for the better? Glad to see everyone is waking up to what's most important.

Question: Sports has always been something that Americans rally around and come together. Have you thought about how to try to bring the country together? To reach out, or to find common ground? Have you thought about that, or how that might go?

Success Will Bring The Country Together

President Trump replied: I'd love to do it but I'd say this. We have to come together, but to come together there's only one thing that's gonna do it and that's massive success. Success will bring the country together.

My Commentary -

President Trump is absolutely correct - success will bring Americans together. But the question is how to do it? What theory is being applied apart from smart business-like decision making?

I'm always talking about switching to a social economy that enables a dignified standard of living for every person in the world - that's Step One.

This is why I'm always talking about switching to a social economy that enables a dignified standard of living for every person in the world - that's Step One.

From there we will know how to move forward. The path ahead will be clearer to us all.

There is really nothing to talk about until we make that a reality, so we'd be smart to make basic living conditions for every human on the planet a priority. And we shouldn't put all this on the new president - there is a lot we can accomplish together if we put our minds to it.

The future economy can only be successful and functional if we understand how important it is to balance out our interpersonal relationships.

We're entering a new stage in our development, where we have to realize our interdependence in the system of nature, and adjust our social-economic conditions to fit its laws.

Either we'll do this the hard way by continuing to receiving blows from nature, such as Covid and many other types of unpleasant wakeup calls. Or we'll choose to understand that we're all in the same boat, and our individual wellbeing depends on the overall wellbeing. These are not two separate things like we thought until now.

We've started to understand how the “invisible hand” isn't only about economic terminology, but rather that each of us is responsible for everyone. At the very least in our thinking and caring about others.

One way or another, the dramatic events unfolding in today's transparent world are forcing us to change. Forcing us to think about others, and put ourselves in their shoes.

So the real task at hand is to build a society where we support one another, and rediscover the benefits of being caring human beings who treat each other favorably. Who treat others the way we would want to be treated.

That's the only "game" we should be concerned about. But in the meantime, hope everyone enjoyed the Super Bowl.
