If you are a wild thinker like me, you have probably asked this question: Can Google Search offer more than just links in their SEARP?

Well, get ready for a game-changer!

Google's recent Search Generative Experience (SGE) update utilizes?AI?to provide informative summaries and creative text formats alongside your search results.

You may be wondering where that leaves you as an SEO person. I will cover that in the future as we watch things unfold.

But here's how to activate SGE and unlock the power of AI-powered search:

1. First, you must be more than 18.
2. You must?be?based?in one of the eligible countries.
3. Check Availability:?SGE is still in its early stages and might not be available in all regions. (BETA Version) As of the time of writing, Google SGE is available to upward of 120 countries.
4. Get yourself a Chrome browser.
5. Sign in with your Google account.
6. Spot the Labs icon:?Open your Google Chrome browser and navigate to the search engine homepage (google.com).?Look for a beaker icon?located at the top right corner of the screen.?If you see it, you're in luck!
7. Enable SGE:?Click on the beaker icon.?This?opens the "Google Labs" section. Locate the SGE card and toggle the switch to "on."
8. Accept the invitation.?A pop-up window will appear, explaining SGE and requesting your?agreement to participate. Click "I Agree" to activate SGE.
9. Experience AI-powered Search:?Now, when you perform a search, you might see an additional section with an SGE label displaying informative summaries, creative text formats, or helpful visuals alongside your regular search results.

Caveat:?SGE is still under development, so you might not see it for every search.

However, with SGE activated, you're on your way to experiencing a more informative and engaging search experience powered by?AI.

Bonus Tip:?If you don't see the Labs icon,?keep an eye out?for future updates from Google. SGE might become widely available soon!
