Have You Started Your Assignment?

ASSIGNMENT – a task or piece of work assigned to someone as part of a job or course of study.

During school, we are given assignments to complete in a timely manner. Some of us immediately get to work, while others cram and get it done last minute. But the final result is COMPLETING the assignment, awaiting another one to come.

Similar in life, we are also given an assignment.  But this is an assignment from GOD himself to complete before our time is up.

These assignments may include: being a mother or a father, creating jobs, becoming a leader, or motivating others with your words and actions.

The interesting thing is that everyone has something unique to give. No two assignments are exactly alike, because our God-given abilities are not alike.

Some of us may be gifted with:

• Intelligence
• Creativity
• Leadership
• Protecting and Saving Lives
• Mathematical skills
• Scientific knowledge
• Musical aptitude
• Acting talent
• Artistic ability
• Sports and Physical Activities strength
• Photography
• Cooking
• Gardening
• Teaching
• Speaking
• Writing

But GOD knows WHY he has given us a particular assignment and he knows we are capable of completing it.

Our assignments are a source of love for everyone around us and we have the ability to unleash our unlimited abundance and happiness through the power of GRATITUDE.

Yes, I realize that life is full of many challenges. But the key to overcoming these challenges is to keep moving forward. Leave your mistakes and regret in the past. They don’t define your value, then or now.

LET THEM GO!

Replace self-limiting internal programs with newer beliefs that contain the real TRUTH about who you are capable of BEING.

Whatever you do, NEVER give up! You will reach your potential and fulfill your dreams if you remain GRATEFUL through the difficult times and faithful to the end.

The miracle of all this is that once you COMMIT to making change, you DISCOVER more abilities that you didn’t know you had. You also begin attracting the RIGHT circumstances and people in your life who BELIEVE in you and want to be around you.

Remember, our EGO feeds on fear, doubt and pain. The more we attach ourselves to our ego thoughts, the further we move away from our TRUE self.

We can only manifest love, happiness and success when we are operating from our TRUE self.

Focus on the power of thought and intention by living with a GRATEFUL heart. This way we can only see what is good about our surroundings, our relationships, and our situation.

My advice is to start playing a BIGGER game that serves you and to those whose lives you WILL touch. Be thankful for the lessons and the blessings you’ve experienced in your life. Take time to love, laugh, cry, learn, and forgive. Live each moment in full, in kindness and peace, without fear and regret. Because there are only so many TOMORROWS.

What I am saying my friends is that you only get one shot at life so let go of the people and things that continuously hold you back and no longer serve you. Realize that everything you’ve been through was preparation for where you are right now and where you can be tomorrow.

How can you ever see the great things ahead of you if you keep looking at the bad things behind you?

Remember: You have an assignment that nobody else can fulfill.

Someone needs your gifts, your smile, your love, your passion. You are a part of a divine plan.Your assignment is too important, your time is too valuable to be distracted by negative people.

I do realize we desperately want to get things right and thus, at times, want “absolute proof” of what GOD is asking or calling us to do. But this is when we are all called to walk by FAITH and not by sight.

Just ALLOW yourself to SEE the clues that GOD leaves for us EVERYDAY to discover who we really are. He knows what we want, and desires to answer our prayers.

And he wants us to complete his assignment and make a CONTRIBUTION.

For doing an assignment is a process we experience during our journey in life. Our purpose then becomes to answer our CALLING and do the BEST job possible.

So, at the end of you life, you can honestly say, “I have COMPLETED my assignment to the best of my God-given abilities.”
