Have you seen your own death in dreams?

People keep on having different kind of dreams almost every night, some may be good and some may be nightmares. Few of my friends always have bad dreams when they are either running away from something scary or they met with an accident or they fall down from some heights and then they wake up in the middle of night fully sweating or trembling with fear of loosing their lives or risking their lives in the dreams.

But seeing the death of a near and dear one like a parent or your own death has some significance to know about. Seeing your own death in dreams has some deeper meaning than your dying. It symbolises your change in inner self and about a transformation in you or some drastic development going to take place in your life which will change your life completely. It may mean that you are going for a complete overhaul of your life and some thing new is going to happen to your own personality.

But if you see the death of your near or dear one it can mean that you think that your relationship with that person needs to work out something better. Seeing someone dead in a dream can mean a lot of things. ... If it is someone that you love, and they die in a horrible way, then it can mean that you are worried about them or you don't really love them and you want to see their ended or it may seem that you wish them to go away from your life ending your relationship with them.

To dream about the death of your living parents indicates that you are undergoing a significant change in your waking life. Your relationship with your parents has evolved into reaching a new height. When you dream of your parents dying as a child it has different meaning it means that the child will reach certain important milestones of his life and grows into an adult, dreaming of their death is symbolic of our own self-discovery, transition and transformation reaching a new stage of life.

But from whatever I have learnt in my research on dreams has been significant to me. Dreaming of your own death is symbolic of undergoing inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or your life. You are undergoing a transitional phase and are becoming a more enlightened or spiritual person. There are big changes are round to corner for you where you are making a new start and leaving the past behind. If you are getting married or heading for a divorce, or being promoted to a higher position, moving to a new territory, you may experience dreams of your own death. It means much more that your term with the current position is about to end but not to worry because this also signals a new positive turn on your road to your life journey.

Therefore, if you are seeing yourself dead in your dreams this means that there is an alarm ringing for your life that your life is going to be completely different and has a promise to start a new exciting phase of your own journey and this change is going to be good and positive for you.
