Have you seen this ad: Policybazaar - "Unspoken- Story of father and son"

There was a time when seeing an insurance ad meant seeing the photograph of the head of the family and the widow giving us a painful smile, grateful for the policy that her husband had taken before passing away.

The insurance industry has come a long way since then and so are the insurance ads

This ad, just hints at the possibilities that are there.

The ad opens with the retired father somehow managing the show at home. His son has gone away, apparently, against his wishes. That he still loves him, also comes thru.

Then comes the crucial point of the ad : the rent is still pending and the house owner is going to come around to talk about it. What to do?

The ad is built in a very interesting manner. A little too syrupy and emotional but eminently watchable.
