You’re not proud of your website and therefore you’re not promoting it properly. You’re not proud of any of your images or imagery, you’re not sure about your pricing, you’re not sure whether people are going to come. But actually, if we can get your website really being?you?and everything on it is absolutely?you?and you know that you’ve got something to serve your client with that is the best thing for them – not everybody but the right bodies; then actually, you would start to market that as if like your life depended on it.?
It’s about putting emotion into it
You have to put?you?into the website, and most of the time people don’t want to do that. That’s why copywriters exist because it’s really hard to talk about yourself with such a glowing fantastic-ness. It’s much easier for us to talk about someone else and to trust what someone else said about something else. This is social proof, which is why testimonials and all of those recommendations and things are really powerful. I could say I’m the best coach on the planet. I could say I’m a world-class coach and that I’ve coached award-winning coaches of the year, which I have. But actually, somebody else saying it about me is far more powerful than me saying it.
