Have you played or heard of lateral table-tennis or lateral Ping-Pong?

If you haven't.....Imagine two players A and B, fiercely battling it out on a table-tennis table in a singles match series spanning over many hours or even days. You are another player on another table, immersed in your own game with other ping-pong enthusiasts. Both tables are distant from each other in time and space, and the players of each table are seemingly oblivious to the other in those moments of high-octane volleys.

And suddenly.......! Player B of the first table delivers a thunderous unanticipated smash..... re-directing the ball.....to the table where you are playing! You are caught unawares when the ball bounces in front of you like a bolt of lightning, and you are expected to respond within milliseconds to survive the game! At this fleeting time-point, you are not able to identify which game you are playing, but the immediate survival need is paramount and critical......
