It's amazing how small the world can be, and how interconnected we all are. The concept of "six degrees of separation" is truly fascinating, and it's something that I've experienced firsthand through my friendship with Karan.
The idea of "six degrees of separation" suggests that everyone in the world is connected to each other through a chain of no more than six acquaintances. In other words, you are only six introductions away from anyone else in the world.
This concept can be particularly helpful when it comes to finding job opportunities. Through our professional and personal networks, we may have connections to people who work in industries or companies that we're interested in. These connections can help us learn about job openings, make introductions, and provide valuable insights into the company culture and hiring process.
Now, let me tell you how I met Karan. I met Karan through our mutual friend Stephanie Darvill (aka Steph), who owns a company called Aline - Learn Better . We hit it off at a meetup event that Steph organized for people who are passionate about learning.
So there I was, at this event and if you've been to an event with me, you know I typically play the "LinkedIn game ".? We both agreed to guess how many mutual connections we had on LinkedIn and the loser had to buy the other a fika. However, I discovered in my icebreaker question that Karan was an accomplished chef so I upped my ask to a dinner in the future. He obliged.?
We played, and I won! Yippee.?
As we looked through our mutual contacts, which I jokingly refer to as the "mafia effect," we found it funny how we tend to endorse each other through our shared connections. We also had some intriguing tales to share about some of these mutual acquaintances, including one who turned out to be Karan's neighbour and friend, and also someone I knew well.
While we were chatting, Karan mentioned that his wife had connections to a little-known Canadian town, and he didn't expect me to have heard of it. However, when he revealed the name of the place - Winnipeg - I was thrilled since it happens to be my hometown. I was curious to know more because it's not often that Canadians meet people from Winnipeg abroad. (Fun fact: I even have a small community of Winnipeggers/Manitobans in Sweden , Hit me up if you’re from the area and living in Sweden now! Just sayin’!)
So, after a successful Aline event, my new friend Karan and I made plans to meet up. Turns out, we both have furry companions - I have Bolt, the lovable troublemaker of a Jack Russell Terrier, and he has Kira, a gorgeous and kind German Shepherd. And let me tell you, when these two pups met, it was love at first sniff!
I mean, they're basically "dog dating" now. I even gave them a label - they're officially in a "puppy relationship." And since Karan is Kira's human, that makes him Bolt's "Dog Father In Law." Yeah, I know, I'm a bit quirky like that. But hey, it's one of my best qualities, if I do say so myself.
And we have become great friends.

Anyway, let me get you back to why we are here.?
Karan is #openforwork !?
As a web developer, Karan has an impressive skill set and a passion for learning and growing in his field. However, like many professionals, he knows that finding the right job opportunity can be challenging. That's where I come in - I'm trying to be his Professional Wing Woman and help him connect with potential employers.
Karan is currently open to job opportunities where he can contribute, learn, and grow. He is highly skilled in #HTML , #CSS , #JavaScript , #React .js, #Next .js, #vue .js, #Nuxt .js, #Phaser .js, #SASS , #Tailwind CSS, #Styled Components, #GIT , #Github , #Terminal , #Responsive Design, #SEO , #Node .js, #Express , #MongoDB , #Firebase , #Heroku , #Strapi CMS, #Stripe , #Digital Ocean, #Vercel , #Netlify , and more. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he is a hot ticket item in the industry right now.
When you stalk him on LinkedIn , you will see his impressive track record working at some great companies and also, his portfolio is pretty wicked , I've been playing his Star Wars-inspired game .?Check out his Github too.
So tech recruiters, you better nab him before he's quickly snatched up and no longer "open to work"
If you're looking for a talented front-end developer who is always eager to learn and grow, look no further than Karan. He is a true asset to any team and I highly recommend him for any job opportunities that match his skills and experience.
