Have you made your Charitable Donation yet?

Dear Friends, 

This is a natural time of year to take stock of our blessings and share moments and memories with loved ones and family. Yet, this is also a time to reflect on how we can do more to make the world a better place for those who have less than we do. It is a season to be present- and, yes, give presents as well- but more than that it is an opportunity to truly look beyond ourselves. 

Many of you may know that I serve on the board of Boys Town New York. If you are not yet familiar with them, I urge you to visit their website to learn more about them (www.boystown.org/locations/new-york/about-boys-town-new-york). In short, they are a miraculous organization that helps children and families across the City in myriad ways. 

There are many organizations who will be vying for your attention this season. However, there is something about seeing a transformation from at-risk to on-track, a transition from hopelessness to hope and a journey from crisis to stability that warms your soul and lifts your spirit long after the holidays have passed. This is what Boys Town New York does all year round and it is a cause I am honored to support. 

I know this is but one of many letters you will receive. But, if you could take a moment to support an organization that is dedicated to working alongside those who need it most, it would mean the world to both me and the thousands of children and families served by Boys Town New York each year.
