I noticed this in a book I've been reading recently: the descriptions were wonderful, they connected me to the scene... I felt like I was there. It was emotional and poetic but I began to ask when the hero was actually going to *do* anything and what would transpire next. Whether my writings are any more balanced requires an outside opinion :-)
